Inspirational quotes are things we believe and that are reinforced in other people’s words, they are a reminder that others share your viewpoint and can prove very useful as a motivator for self-belief.
This week I decided to focus on a different quote each day to set my mood for the day. I am already a fan of cutting out quotes I like, or printing off new inspiration and sticking it around my room. It’s always a good pick-me-up.
Here’s what my week looked like in quotes:
Monday – “You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think, and twice as capable as you have ever imagined.”
Tuesday – “Winners get up and do it; losers make excuses and stay in bed.”
Wednesday – “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.”
Thursday – “Don’t let a bad day make you feel like you have a bad life.”
Friday – “Good things come to people who wait, but better things come to those who go out and get them.”
Saturday – “Life isn’t a dress rehearsal.”
Sunday – “Friends are the most important ingredients in the recipe of life.”
And we all have our own gems of wisdom which we probably say off hand to friends, however it’s often these remarks which our friends remember and repeat to us if we do get low.
Keep a few of the best ones pinned up somewhere you can see them and look at them often, say them out loud and most importantly, believe them!
We can be our own worst enemy but we can also be our own best friend.
Love yourself, love your life and go out and live it.
