Yesterday, I had a go at gingery garlic prawns and enlisted some help from a glamourous assistant (aka my housemate). I left her to chop the garlic while I prepared the veg and raided her vast supply of spices for some ginger.
We put the ginger and garlic in the frying pan until the kitchen started to smell like a spice market and then added the prawns. Cut to 5 minutes down the line and there you have it.

My housemate opted for rice with hers, as she’s not a big veg eater but between us we had a very colourful meal, that took all of 10 minutes.
